Holiday Open Houses will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 8

Cure your cabin fever on Tuesday by visiting several of your local merchants for a Holiday Open House!  Extended shopping hours will be offered for the event with refreshments and special offers for one day only. Grab your friends and take care of your entire Christmas list. You’ll be surprised at what you can find right here at home.

• All That I Am Books in downtown Newport will have refreshments and drawings for When The Tables Turn merchandise and a computer lab gift certificate until 7 p.m.
• ASU-Newport Bookstore in the Student/Community Center is offering refreshments and 25% off your total purchase (excludes books) until 7 p.m.
• Check out Charee’s Emporium for specials and a one-night-only drawing for a Charee’s Emporium gift certificate until 7 p.m.
• Darling’s Fine Things will host Girls’ Night Out from 2 to 7 p.m. with free gift-wrapping, sip and sweets, door prizes and other treats. And guys, Santa’s elves can help you make your selections too!
• Helena Chemical Parts Store on Hwy. 367 North will have special discounts and refreshments until 6 p.m.
• At Hohn’s Nursery, check out the fantastic holiday deals during the open house until 6 p.m.
• Jones Home Furnishings will be offering shopping specials from 5 to 7 p.m.
• Newport Technology Center-Radio Shack will be open until 7 p.m. for 20% off all toys.
• Pink Poodle will give away two $50 gift certificates, a Christmas shirt and an Akola necklace plus a Shop & Shop. Open until 7 p.m.
• Purdy’s Flowers & Gifts will hold their traditional Purdy’s “Taste of Christmas” with a sampling of gourmet food items until 7 p.m.
• Sophie’s Jewels inside Dr. Falwell’s office behind Village Mall is offering 20% off storewide until 7 p.m.

The Holiday Open House event is held in conjunction with the annual Shop Til You Drop holiday giveaways, a retail merchants’ promotion of the Newport Area Chamber of Commerce. Make plans to support our local retailers during this year’s Holiday Open House event.
